1. What is Caligine? Is it just a humidifier or also a diffuser?

Caligine is both. It is a luxury ultrasonic humidifier and aroma diffuser combined into one sculptural object. It adds moisture to dry indoor air while gently dispersing your favorite essential oils—turning your space into a personal sanctuary.

2. Why do I need a humidifier in the UAE?

The UAE's constant air conditioning removes moisture from the air, leading to:

  • Dry skin and irritated sinuses

  • Cracked lips and morning sore throats

  • Static electricity and dried-out furniture

Caligine restores balance. It puts healthy moisture back into your room while you sleep, work, or relax.

3. Can I use Oud or Bukhoor oil in Caligine?

Yes. Caligine is compatible with all essential oils, including Oud, Rose, Sandalwood, Lavender, and Bukhoor-inspired blends. We recommend using water-soluble oils or high-quality essential oils for best results and to maintain the longevity of the device.

4. How long does the mist last?

The 300ml water tank provides:

  • Up to 10 hours of continuous mist on high settings

  • Up to 30 hours of intermittent mist on low settings

Perfect for overnight use while you sleep or all-day freshness in your majlis or living room.

5. Is it quiet? Will it disturb my sleep or my baby?

Absolutely quiet. Caligine operates at whisper-quiet ultrasonic frequency (under 30dB). It will not disturb your sleep, your child, or your pet. The soft glow can also be turned off completely if you prefer total darkness.

6. Does it have a light? Can I turn it off?

Yes. Caligine features a warm, dimmable ambient light that mimics candlelight. You can:

  • Cycle through brightness levels

  • Turn the light off completely for uninterrupted darkness

No harsh RGB colors. Only warm, human light.

7. How do I clean Caligine?

Cleaning is simple:

  • Empty any remaining water daily

  • Wipe the tank with a soft, damp cloth weekly

  • For deep cleaning, use a mixture of water and white vinegar (70:30 ratio) to remove any mineral buildup

A cleaning brush is included in the box.

8. Is it safe to leave on overnight?

Yes. Caligine is designed with automatic shut-off protection. When the water runs out, the device turns itself off automatically—no risk, no worry.

9. How long does delivery take in the UAE?

We offer FREE shipping across all 7 Emirates.

  • Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah: 3 to 5 business days

  • Northern Emirates: 5 to 7 business days

Orders placed before 2:00 PM are processed the same day. You will receive a tracking link via SMS and email once your order is dispatched.

10. What is your return policy?

We want you to love your Caligine. If you are not completely satisfied:

  • Unopened items: Return within 14 days for a full refund

  • Opened/Used items: We accept returns within 7 days if the product is in resalable condition with original packaging

  • Defective items: Covered by our 12-month warranty. Contact us at support@caligine.ae and we will arrange a replacement immediately.
